The problem is not the thoughts. It is the thinking about the thoughts…
delamora as a concept of sound & evolution encapsulates a philosophy, a purpose and a framework.
The synchronistic evolution of delamora began in 2011 when Marian Kraus established his endeavor formerly known as Gong Sound Healing, after discovering the powerful effects of the gong during a commercial photography assignment. Over the next three years he developed his style of the gong bath and guided gong meditations. In 2014 Marian and Gabriela met at a Gong Master Class in Memphis, TN., and shortly thereafter gradually, yet rapidly envisioned delamora as the platform of their mutual sound therapy and human potential development related activities.
delamora reflects the results of their individual growth processes, triggered by different phases and stages of personal challenges and awakenings along their life’s paths. It rides on their fascination with gongs, singing bowls and other sound tools as vehicles for mental stimulation and alertness, inspiration, expansion of one’s consciousness, and making better choices in life. Largely though, delamora is their demonstration of dreams becoming a reality and their desire to share this possibility with others who seek to identify and manifest their own dreams.
Literally translated from Spanish, de la mora means “Mulberry”, a fruit rich in various qualities and healing properties. The red mulberry, native to eastern North America, have the strongest flavor, which has been likened to ‘fireworks in the mouth’. Metaphorically speaking, the berry originates from a seed and reaches the moment of “harvest” at its most abundant and perfect point of ripeness. As most elements in nature, humans included, it undergoes a transformational process throughout its evolution…
The core components of delamora are:
- purpose: delamora’s purpose is to inspire and guide people in their own creative and consistent processes toward their optimal development and evolution, while advancing themselves as the “ripe fruit”, that someday the seed promised to become…
- philosophy: grown from a promising seed in a fertile land, under the passion and work of the caring hands of conscious beings, supported by the nurturing elements of nature …
- framework: delamora is driven by a team of life-lovers, absolutely emphatic with the all encompassing and essential order of the universe, with freedom, harmony, evolution, equilibrium, freshness, love, gratitude and renewal…
Born in former communist ruled Czechoslovakia and raised in “West” Germany, from a young age Marian was enthralled with nature and the inherent order of the Universe. This fascination resulted in his growing desire to express beauty and harmony through light and sound. In 1990 he embarked on finding out “what makes him tick and what does not make him tick” and to increasingly “live life on life’s terms” rather than his own, one day at a time. As a result, after spending a 20 year career in international sales and marketing with a large German based industrial conglomerate, he began a new life segment as a professional architectural and fine art photographer in 1999. Being a long time hand drummer, he expanded his creative repertoire by expressing images also through the powerful vehicle of sound in 2011.
While maneuvering through the integration of three very different countries and cultures, Marian possesses a heightened sensitivity, appreciation and awareness to the process of inner growth and transformation. As a student and practitioner of metaphysics for over thirty five years, he presents gong bath meditation, meditative and transformative sound excursions that are driven by his innate rhythmic hand drum abilities and an inimitable keen sense of visual and intuitive perception.
He served on the advisory board of the Harmonic Therapy Association, is an associate member of the HTA and the Sound Healers Association, and is a licensed PSYCH-K® facilitator. He received his Gong Master certification under the guidance of legendary Don Conreaux, and has also studied with senior instructor, lecturer and teacher Mitch Nur, PhD of 9waysacademia, who has spent well over 40 years as a Sacred Sound Practitioner and Teacher and is one of the foremost authorities on Sacred Sound instruments and applications as they pertain to ritual, shamanic healing, meditation, ceremony, and personal transformation. Marian is currently undertaking a long distance curriculum with the Nada Centre for Music Therapy in New Delhi, India.

Gaby became a Gong Master through the guidance of the legendary Don Conreaux and has been applying the gongs in combination with her studies in Universal Energy and Jungian Psychotherapy in a one-on-one, group and corporate fashion. Among others, she facilitated group gong baths for the International Meeting Organizers and companies such as Inboursa and Financiera Finsol. Currently she is preparing an event for Audi.
She continues to refine her understanding of the fascinating aspects of how sound affects the human psyche and spirit in an ongoing fashion.
Each delamora’s gong bath meditation is a psychoacoustic gateway to higher states of awareness and consciousness and emotional hygiene in action. The delamora gong bath presents a space for inner healing and expansion into the field of human potential development. Gaby and Marian create pictures with sound and provide gateways into otherworldly realms. They utilize their time between the greater Chicago as well as Mexico City areas and provide their healing and transformational gong bath meditation at venues including Cadence Health’s Living Well Cancer Resource Center, The Theosophical Society in America, Loyola Medicine’s Gottlieb Center, the Tau Center, a ministry of the “Wheaton Franciscans”, The Well Spirituality Center, the Replogle Center for Counceling and Well Being, the Cancer Wellness Center, Core Power Yoga and multiple other Yoga Studios, churches as well as holistic spas. They furthermore facilitate workshops and retreats as well as corporate consultations and brainstorming getaways in the US and Mexico.
