Common Characteristics of Crop Circles, Cymatics and Gongs

Everything in the cosmos is made of energy. All energy vibrates but at different frequencies, thus distinguishing energies from each other. Each frequency has a distinct sound. The human body has various frequencies or cycles, including our heartbeat, breath, brainwaves, and menstrual cycles, all of which are impacted by our universe.

The fundamental basis of Cymatics, crop circles, and the gong are vibrations and sound frequencies. Cymatics uses sound to generate shapes, crop circles are believed to be linked to the intensity of sound frequencies, and the gong, when used in sound healing or sound therapy influences your internal vibrations for your betterment.

Cymatics, crop circles, and the gong's connection to sound and vibrations all point to the existence of a Divine, or Universal Energy Field. Vibration and sound are the foundations of existence and impact us personally. We may increase access points to the innate power that connects us to the Creator, Almighty, Higher Power, the Universe (or what you chose to call it based on your belief system) if we study and engage with Cymatics, crop circles, and the gong.

What Is Cymatics?

The study of sound waves and their frequencies that result in energetic geometric patterns is known as Cymatics. It demonstrates that vibrations created our material universe. Hans Jenny, a Swiss physician and a natural scientist, is credited with coining the term "Cymatics."

The Greek word kyma, meaning "wave," is where the name "Cymatics" originates. Ernst Chladni's research served as an inspiration for Hans Jenny's experiments. In the 18th century, Ernst Chladni used a violin bow to strike the edge of a metal plate covered in powder, causing the harmonics to vibrate the powder into a form. Hans Jenny expanded the practice, research and investigations, using a plate now known as a Chladni plate.

Discovery of Cymatics

Dr. Hans Jenny is considered the “Father of Cymatics”.  In 1960, to evaluate the human voice using visual sound figures, Hans Jenny constructed a tonoscope, a device having a circular membrane or drum mounted to a cylindrical speaker. To measure the frequency of the various shapes, he connected a frequency generator and amplifier to the tonoscope.

Jenny discovered that his patterns resemble other forms found in nature and the mandala, a Hindu emblem representing vibrations from the unseen realm. "Unseen forces" are represented by ancient symbols. Jenny believed this to imply that humans share vibrating energy with nature and that he was capable of creating structures that resembled the natural world. In this context, the Fibonacci sequence and the Golden Ratio are mathematical ratios and precise patterns found in nature and ancient sacred sites. In its geometry, the Fibonacci spiral can be considered and viewed as the sunflower's core, a seashell, the core of a flower, the scales of a sea horse, and numerous mandalas.

Max Planck, a quantum theorist and physicist, proposed that matter exists due to force. In this case, the force is vibration. The matter will alter if the frequency of a structure is amplified. Sound is the foundation of form and shape, and sound is produced by frequency. According to the Bible, Qur'an, and Rig Veda, the beginning was the word, and the word was God. If the sound is the foundation of all form and structure, then God is a metaphor for a high-frequency sound that formed our existence. More information on Cymatics can be found here.

What Are Crop Circles?

Crop circles are also related to frequency. Crop circles are formations, or geometric patterns, that are mainly found in wheat fields. They come out of nowhere and are typically formed instantly or over a course of a short time frame, mainly during the still hours of the night. They draw people from all around the world to witness the magnificent geometric shapes left in the fields. People are split on whether crop circles are made by a divine Consciousness, paranormal activity or by a prankster. No doubt there have been incidents where crop circle formations were created by people. Yet, when viewed scientifically, the intricate geometric patterns and consistent degree of the bend of the stalks leave no room for doubting their authenticity of having been created by something other than humans. Countless speculations have also been made about the possibilities of government agencies having created the crop circle formations as a result of testing technologies of various kinds.

Crop circle

To date, approximately 10,000 crop circles have been reported internationally, from locations such as the former Soviet Union, the United Kingdom, Japan, the U.S., and Canada. The number of reports of crop circles has substantially increased since the 1970s. There has been scant scientific study of them. Circles in the United Kingdom lead the number sightings and other countries by far. They are not distributed randomly across the landscape but appear near roads, areas of medium to dense population and cultural heritage monuments, such as Stonehenge or Avebury. Nearly half of all crop circles found in the UK in 2003 were located within a 9.3 mi radius of the Avebury stone circles.

High sound frequency levels have been detected inside crop circles in terms of frequency. The frequency levels have fluctuated between 260 and 329 MHz, with some reaching 1.2 GHz. The intricacy of the pattern increases with frequency, which means, the greater the frequency, the more complicated the pattern. It is also noteworthy that typically measuring devices, cell phones, digital cameras etc. oftentimes do not work inside crop circles or in the very close vicinity of such.

Significance of Crop Circles

Crop circles and sacred geometry have many similarities if you believe they were made by an invisible intelligence. Cymatic patterns, which resemble potent symbols like the mandala, pentagram, and Merkaba, also share very similar geometric characteristics when compared to crop circles in their appearance. The biblical term for the merkaba is light (mer), spirit (ka), and flesh (ba). The term "Merkaba" signifies divine light that echoes through in a double-superimposed tetrahedron star vehicle. The "The Vitruvan Man" art by Leonardo DaVinci has been analyzed using the Merkaba form. It is meant to depict man as a flawless, exquisite piece of geometry. According to DaVinci, humans are a precise collection of geometric forms. Humans ought to mirror our Creator if they are ideal creations.

Islamic and eastern religious traditions have used sacred geometry to depict visions of God. Geometric patterns enhance the sonic effects of mosques, furniture, and 12th-century gothic cathedrals. Because they are meant to symbolize God's perfection, these designs are made with extreme care and accuracy.

Crop circles, the authentic ones, are also believed to be flawless works of geometry, so perfect that humans cannot recreate them. Plants in crop circles are bent an inch above the earth, their stems are lightly burned at the base, groundwater is absorbed, and the crystalline structure of the plant and soil is transformed by electromagnetic or sonic frequencies that are as intense as several atmospheres of pressure. Humans are incapable of assembling all of the components of a crop circle.

The physicality of the crop circle holds a deeper meaning as well. The wheat used to make the crop circles represents Mother Earth and harmony. All crop circles begin with a circle and grow in size. Circles are symbolic of cosmic life, the unknown, and heaven. Crop circles, like mandalas, contain vibrations that help in the process of inner transformation. The square signifies material and earth, and when combined with a circle, it depicts the fusion of humankind and the universal spiritual mother. Crop circles demonstrate that nature is mighty and knows just who to speak with.

What Are Gongs Used For?

Gongs are useful in the development of positive frequencies in the body. They are used in sound healing, a therapy that employs gongs and singing bowls (which are considered resting or horizontal gongs) to awaken the energy inside us and calm the chattering mind. The gong provides ambient sound, resulting in a soothing experience, due also do its generating of countless harmonics, or overtones. This is because the gong is an idiophone or whole vibrating instrument, allowing the sound to resonate in a far reaching fashion.

Healthy people are idiophones, meaning that the holistic tones of our body, emotions, intellect, and spirit make a cooperative effort that results in a joyful and bountiful existence. According to Frank Perry, a UK based sound therapy expert, healing entails transforming the body into a fully resonant one. According to the Law of Resonance, everything vibrates, and everything that vibrates at the same frequency makes itself known to the other. Intent + frequency = healing. With specific and targeted sounds, when coupled with the proper intention, we can direct our ‘recovery’ and healing. The gong heals because its comprehensive nature mandates that the body be holistic.

The Importance of Gongs

Gong artisans used to believe that a gong could only succeed with the assistance of higher powers and that they were more vulnerable to such forces than ordinary individuals. Asian dynasties considered the gong a sign of wealth and a status symbol. The gong was employed in rituals to elicit spirits and banish devils. Touching a gong brought fame and prosperity. The gong is also used to accompany meditation. Symphonic gongs, which convey the solar energy of creation, and planet gongs, whose harmonics are analogous to the orbit of the planets, are just two of many effective gongs. Gongs have been used for thousands of years for shamanistic, celebratory, healing, ceremonial, and self-transformational purposes. Sound baths, a.k.a. gong baths, have been increasingly gaining popularity in recent years.

The gong is considered a tool that can assist people in reaching their full potential by healing and reviving the body's inherent energy. The sound of the gong also reflects the OM, a Sanskrit phrase used in Buddhist and Hindu texts that represent the tone of life and healing. According to Yogi Bhajan,” The one who plays the gong plays the universe. It is a beautiful reinforced vibration; the only instrument with which you can create this specific combination of space vibrations.” Sound is associated with God in this context. The Common Element between Cymatics, Crop Circles, and The Gong

Cymatics and crop circles demonstrate that sound at different frequencies produces complex shapes in matter that correspond to natural and religious shapes and symbols, and formations that resemble sacred imagery. The gong demonstrates that humans may cure themselves or change their attitudes by influencing vibration and the sound produced by the vibration, which differs at different frequencies. The intervention of vibrations and sound in Cymatics, crop circles, and the gong demonstrates that we humans are connected to and with a Higher Power (or again, whatever we may want to call it), if we choose to recognize it. This insight demonstrates that we have choices and, to a large degree, command over our lives. Humanity is a part of something much deeper, wholesome, natural and significant than we are often and commonly lead to believe. In the end, we do have the ability to create our own reality and happiness, again, if we so choose.

Needless to say that there have been books written on all three of the above segments and it goes beyond the scope of this article to cover many more relevant details. Yet, we do hope that this entry may have served to awaken or stir your interest for further research as well as phenomenological experience.
