Felt wrapped hardwood mallet with a comfortable and well balanced feel. Ideal for the tapping of the bowl, even though the wooden part can also be used for the rimming / singing of the singing bowl.
The felt ensures a soft and gentle touch point and sound when striking the bowl and assists in generating the lower frequency and tonal ranges of the singing bowl.
These singing bowl mallets are available in small and large sizes, suitable for smaller (4 - 7”) and larger sized bowls. They are about 8" long, 4" of it being felt wrapped, the handle being 1" or 1 1/2” in dia. Sizes approximate. Items are hand crafted in Kathmandu, Nepal.
